Hi Carol On a 1928 USDA Cawford County Map, there appears to be a small settlement and a School called "Midway" located as follows: From the US-69 Jct., with McKay Street, Frontenac, go 4 Miles east and 1/2 Mile south. I haven't been there so I don't know how much of this settlement is left, and I don't know if this is what you were looking for. This map shows the location of the towns and so called "One Room Country Schools" in existence in Crawford County in 1928.
