Hi Lois, Many many thanks for checking this out for me! I did a Google Earth search for the Girard cemetery and found it. I dont know if any of the other WRIGHT's buried there are mine. They may possibly be from an earlier generation but I have my main line of WRIGHT's pretty much correct...I hope! :-) I dont know where Alfred's two brothers James & John, ended up. I have two possible marriages for James, and a John the correct age who is in the State pen at Joliet, I hope hes not mine! I wonder what he did?! Once again, Many thanks for your help. This time I found him. Apparently he is buried at the Girard Cemetery, Lot #59. He tombstone is inscribed: Alfred G. died Feb 8 1910 aged 42 y 11 m 13 d Wright There are quite a few Wrights buried at the Girard Cemetery who are probably related to Alfred; however, I didn't find a John or James born in the 1850's. There are also Gemmells who came to Crawford County as part of the Scottish Presbyterians from Randolph County, Illinois. The state of Kansas did not keep death records until 1 Jul 1911.
