Hello. I am looking to find information on any type of city or county directory - Pittsburg, Ks., or Crawford Co., Ks.,, for the time around 1945. Does anyone know of such a thing and if so where to find it? I don't know if these type of books were called Telephone Books back then. What I came across listed name, address, place of employment but I can't find it again. Specifially I'm looking for David Newton and Ethel Marie Odell living in Pittsburg, Ks., during the time frame of 1944-1948. Ms. Odell could be listed as Ethel or Marie, either one or both.
