Hopefully, placing it here will keep someone from looking again. Obituaries from the Iola Register Wednesday May 18, 2005 Millie Prock Millie E. Prock, 78, of Iola died Tuesday May 17, at Mt. Carmel Regional Medical Center in Pittsburg. She was born July 18, 1926 in Iola, the daughter of Clifford R. and Zula B. Selvidge Potter. She was married to Stanton "Bud" Best (Vest?). They were divorced. She then married Vernon Steele. The couple lived in and worked for Boeing in Texas, Kansas, Maine, Oklahoma and Washington. They were divorced and she returned to Iola in 1970. She is survived by a son, Joe Steele, Canada; a daughter, Judy Vest Ryckman, Beaver Dam, Wis.; three sisters, Wanda Scheer and Darlene Yocham, Iola and Carol Fowler, LaMirada, Calif.; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. And infant daughter; Zola Jean Vest, four brothers, Clifford Jr., Joseph, Jerry and Richard Potter and a sister, Janice Moore, died earlier. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapels. The Rev. William L. Peters will officiate.
