In the Summer 2001 issue the pedigree of Gala Faye Morton (probably a member of the society) was included. According to the pedigree, her father was William Oliver Morton. William's father was Edward David Morton born 1 May 1856, but no place of birth was given. His mother was Permelia Anne Jones. The pedigree listed Edward's parents as Jeremiah and Elizabeth Morton. According to a book of tombstone transcriptions from Crawford County, Edward (1856-1942) and Anne (1856-1927) are buried in the Langdon Cemetery which is four miles south of Pittsburg.
