There were many jobs, some were shot blasters, line men, diggers, etc. I do not know all of them. On the 1930 census if they listed their job as coal miner's, the next space usually specifies what job they had. I looked for a Henry Wettstein in article in Morning Sun about the Coal Mining Days and did not find anything. These are articles such as the one about John Christian Ott and they are submitted by family members.
