But we have nothing further on him. The crossing date of Heinrich/Henry has been up for question - none of his naturalization papers can be found; what I could determine in my searching is they they were part of the "trash" the courthouse in Illinois disposed of when they decided to clean house. He is on index but that is all. And his date of immigration is up for grabs; males of this name has been found on more than one pax list, with different occupations and oddly, they all are about the age he would have been. The names you found for the mines could be good clues to the make up of Henry's family if one could get more background on them. I found, when I first began this project, Wettsteins (especially Henry Wettstein) is ! a far more common name than I thought it would be, but not all came from Switzerland - many came from Germany. BTW: is the spelling of the coal company Wear or Weir? If I am reading correctly, Ashley Coal Camp aka #15 Central Camp? I recall something in my research about #15 - will have to dig out my data again to review this and see where this new info leads me. Thank you for all the time you are taking - I feel a new clue coming on.
