The best way for you to get a report of a death is to get newspaper microfilms from KSHS (Kansas State Historical Society)and review them at your local library. Early newspapers generally carried "personal" info. It's not "official," but it's the best you're going to do. The KSHS online site allows you to search for specific county newspapers and date(s). If your library doesn't have a microfilm reader, KSHS will research it for you with a modest fee for the research. Their newspaper collection includes virtually every newspaper printed in Kansas from the earliest history of the state. Hope this helps.
