Mine was Weidner, ggrandparents were married in Cloud Co. Ks. and later joined land rush to Oklahoma. They probably went sometime around 1889. John William Weidner and Mary Catherine Rogers Weidner. Some of ours may have had spelling variations, as we have not been able to pinpoint where some of them went. There were different runs, as more land was opened up. Everyone did not all settle an area at the same time. Makes keeping up with them fun.
