I am researching Albert A. Newman and his family who came from Weld Maine in the mid-1800's and settled in Emporia, KS. The Newman's were instrumental in founding Newman's Dry Goods in Emporia and Arkansas City. Much of what is known about the Newman's is covered in early Ark City and Emporia newspapers but I would like to contact anyone with knowledge outside of the newspapers. Thanks, Ron McIntire
