In the 1880 Federal Census (Windsor, Cowley County), my g.grandmother, Martha Gray, was a widow with 8 children ranging from 2 yrs to 19 yrs living in the C.E. Frank household. Also living there was H.C.Gray who I believe was Harry C. Gray, a brother-in-law to Martha. Does anyone have access to an index for the Kansas State Census for 1885 or 1895. I am pretty sure they should still be in Cowley County in 1895 as my Grandmother (Mary Louisa GRAY) & Grandfather (John Franklin RICHARDS) were married in Grand Summit, Cowley County in 1888. I have completely lost the rest of the family. Would the Winfield Library possibly have and index for these State Census. Any help would be appreciated.
