In the 1880 Census is found a Peter H. Clark living in Maple, Cowley Co., Kansas. Living with he and his wife (Polly) and son (Peter) is a 16 year old granddaughter, Laura Hayden who was born in Illinois. I have information on Peter H. Clark and his daughter, Malinda Clark Chenoweth - who was also in Cowley County. I am trying to find out information about the other children of Peter H. Laura's mother was, undoubtedly, also a Clark but I have nothing more than what was in that Census. I am also interested in what became of Peter H.'s 25 year old son, Peter. I have contacted descendants of Malinda who still live in Udall, but they do not seem to know anything more of Malinda's siblings. Would appreciate any help that would lead to more information.
