I have some information on his family (he had apparently 8 children) which was sent to my father about 1970 by one of Gilbert's great grandsons. I have conflicting reports on Gilbert's father's name - our family records and the FamilySearch Pedigree Resource File show his name as Henry, while Gilbert's great grandson shows his name as Joseph.
