Hello, List, Just a quick question-From second hand information, I have heard that at one time Winfield had an orphanage, is this true? I am trying to locate some information about my grandfather who was adopted from there. His name was Marvin Frederick Moyer b. May 18, 1923 in Junction City, Kansas. I would also like information on the orphanage in Winfield . My grandfather Henry Clay Boone and his brother Howard Grant Boone were both adopted from this orphanage around 1909 or 1910 . They were adopted by a couple with the last name of Lohaus from Oklahoma . I would love to find the records .
