Believe Stephen Splawn Family arrived in 1870's, most likely in Silverdale area. Sister Harriet Egbert dies in 1877 while visiting her brother. Believe brother Mayberry arrives after 1880. Various references in Arkansas City Traveler to Splawn children and a trip (misadventure at best) to Washington State in mid 1880 by the Splawn brothers. 1900 Biography of Mayberry's brother-in-law states Mayberry's second wife is living in Silverdale Kansas; however, I have not been able to locate Margaret Splawn or any other Splawns in Cowley 1900 Census. May be near the Mann family as Stephen and Mayberry's sister, Eliza Jane, was married to Abraham Mann also located in Cowley County at some point in time. Any help greatly appreciated.
