I received some information on an Isaac Cadwalader who resided in the Illinois Soldiers and Sailors' home until his death in 1919. On his application for admission in 1913 he states he had five living children, and wanted Mrs. Susan Brown of Udall, Kansas to be the person notified of any illness or death, and that his personal belongings should be sent to her in the event of his death. I have not been successful in finding Susan Brown but expect that she would still be living in Udall in 1919 and 1920, as a note on the hospital inventory states that "2 watches, 2 knives & purse in a suitcase. One suitcase and contents. 1 Bundle and contents," were shipped to Susan Brown, Udall, Kansas Dec 9, 1920. I suppose I need to know what township Udall is in before I ask for more information, but if anyone has a connection to Susan Brown or Isaac Cadwalader, I would appreciate your contacting me. Thank you very much.
