I am looking for information about a McDowell family who are in the 1900 census in Winfield. Rebecca McDowell married a George McDowell in 1864 in Madison County, Ohio. They moved to Mercer County, PA and were there in 1880. They had a son born 1868 in PA. By 1900, George had died because Rebecca was a widow and running a boarding house. Her son, Thomas, born 1868, PA had been married about 3 years. His wife was an Emma born August 1876, KS father born IA, mother born IL. They had a daughter Jane, born May 1897 in Kansas. Rebecca's obituary in 1919 said that she was survived by a grand daughter Jane McDowell of Los Angeles. So I presume that her son had died by 1919. Does anyone know anything about this group of people? I would very much like to find out what happened to Thomas and Emma.
