Before she retired, Mrs. Lake was a telephone operator. She was the sister of Kitty Kipfer of Madison and Ruth Williams and Lula Truax of Toronto. Frances I. McCoin, the daughter of Hegge and Carrie Morris McCoin, was born December 3, 1905, at Toronto, where she was reared. She married Lynn "Whitey" Lake on March 27, 1933, at Toronto. He died July 4, 1989. Mrs. Lake was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Toronto. She also is survived by another sister, Florence Johnson of Grove, Oklahoma. Two sisters, Vesta Beck and Jewel McCoin, died earlier. The graveside service was today in the Toronto Township Cemetery at Toronto. Rindt-Erdman Funeral Home of Arkansas City was in charge of arrangements.
