I am wondering if there is some one out there that lives in Cowley County that might be able to help me locate a death record on John Maxwell Carter b. Oct 1816 and died February 25,1886. I finally located him living in Rock Creek Township in 1880 as a servant (working on a farm) with an unrelated family. It appears his wife (Abigail Pike) b. March 1841 has already died before 1880. John and Abigail were living in Sedgwick Co. in 1870. I would love to find out where and when Abigail died. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated. Karen
