Please respond to [email protected] Debbie, Virgil, et al -- Hope you don't mind if I post from a previous reply -- the CD is available for $50 from the publisher, and there is also a copy at the LDS Church Family History Library. Perhaps a query with the names involved would be more productive ... Yup. Actually they are rather numerous. The Family History Library catalogue lists seven of them: http://www.familysearch.org/eng/Library/fhlcatalog/supermainframeset.asp?display=topicdetails&subject=346700&subject_disp=Kansas,_Cowley_-_Cemeteries&columns=*,180,0 The eighth one, Births and Deaths in Cowley County, for some reason is not listed [different category - not cemeteries, BS], but a copy is in the same library last I knew. It is by far the most comprehensive of the group. Further details are available at: http://genforum.genealogy.com/ks/cowley/messages/1.html Additional discussion on these resources can be found in the archives for both this list and the GenForum. [hint, hint] Good Luck! Bill Strickland

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/Xl.2ADI/13.1 Message Board Post: I am a great grandson of one Drury Warren whose home I saw in Silverdale Kansas in 1940. I was with my uncle Claude Arnett of Emporia and I am the only one of 16 Arnett cousins to visit there My father's mother, Florence Amanda Warren, and her sister Lavene ran off with two Arnett brothers Elias and Ed and were disinherited for their adventure. All lived close to ninety years but the only Warren contact I recall was with one Phoebe Warren who paid grandma a couple of visits over the years My father, Mahlon Arnett , visited Tonkawa Ok unannounced one time. Dad had achieved some national notice because he headed a large departmentstore chain in southern california .When he inquired as to the location of his birthplace the city clerk knew who he was right away and Dad spent three or four days meeting all of the first cousins he didn't know he had. Most important to him he saw the log dwelling that Drury Warren had built on land near the river. With the above information-- can you tell me if we are discussing the same Drury Warren?. If so perhaps we can continue this dialogue WJA
