GUY H. REISINGER - OBITUARY From: Winfield (KS) Daily Courier, November 11, 1940 GUY H. REISINGER, a resident of Cowley county since 1920, died at St. Mary's hospital at 9:15 AM Sunday, following a serious illness of a month's duration. About three weeks ago he underwent a major operation at the hospital. He had been in poor health about three years. Funeral services for Mr. Reisingerr will be conducted Wednesday at 2PM from the Morris funeral home. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery. Mr. Reisinger was born Oct 1, 1877, at Davenport, Iowa, and until 1920, he made his home in Iowa. Between 1920 and 1923, he resided at Geuda Springs, after which he lived in the Hackney community until April of 1939, when he moved to Liberty township to a farm eight miles southwest of Winfield. Besides his wife, Mr. Reisinger is survived by a son, Russell, who lives in Winfield and by two grandchildren. He has two brothers now living in Minnesota and a sister in Iowa.
