    1. [KSCowley] Lavina (Calkins) Loghry
    2. Wendy Bergerud and Bill Roland
    3. Hi, I'm new to this list and am hoping that someone can help me establish that my ancestress, Lavina (Calkins) Loghry died and is buried in Winfield. Family tradition is that she died there on 5 Nov 1878. She would have been about 42 years old and was probably living with her daughter's family: Mary and Jeremiah Dike/Dyke. Her daughter didn't stay long in Winfield but moved on and finally settled in the Maywood area of Nebraska. Your help is greatly appreciated! Thanks, Wendy

I found them on 1870 Indiana census records today, living in the household of Sarah BRADFORD 51, a widow and her daughter, Emma, 16. MILLER, Jacob 32, Edith 32. There it lists their children at that time. Cyrus 13, William V. 8, Barbara A. 4, Edward C. 2, and Seth M. 2/12(july). This may be the reason Cyrus's middle name was Bradford. It also lists Jacob's occuption as running a saw mill. . Vera
