I need to find out some birth, death and marriage dates from before civil records were kept in Wakefield. I believe that the "events were probably recorded at the church - funerals or burials too. Can anyone tell me whether St. George's Episcopal Church still exists in Wakefield? Or wherever it is/was? I am looking for records of the Jevons family of Wakefield - births, deaths, and marriages around 1900. Also the Bates family but those prob. wouldn't be at that church. I am esp. looking for information about Ellis Jevons who lived in Clay Center. He was the half-brother of my husband's father. I am also looking for information on his son Steve Jevons. Judy Bates
