He lived there all his life I believe. His first wife Mandy C ? must have died between 1880 and 1882 after his first 2 children Edward and Flora May were born. He then married Nancy Catherine Stocker in 1883 and had 8 more children. I'm interested in finding what happened to Mandy (Amanda) and what her maiden name was. George's father was James Harvey Simpson.
