I have posted some "Affidavits of Death" that include the years 1874-1887. This file is probably not complete--the early years seem rather sketchy. The affidavit list the person who died, when he died and sometimes the heirs and their relationship to the decedant--go to the Clay Co. I just got back from Kansas and will be adding more information during the next couple of weeks. I will post to this list as I get records online. Sheryl
