Huston/Houston b abt 1827 who died after the 1880 census. He married Mary Ellen Turner b abt 1848 d 5 Apr 1907 in Tarrant co TX. I have no info on parents on Mary Ellen yet. Erasmus and Mary Ellen Huston are in the Clay, Clay co, KS in both the 1870 and 1880 census. E. P. Huston was editor and proprietor of the Clay County Independent paper about 1871. He was County Clerk and County Treasurer between years 1872 - 1880. I think he died there but I can't prove that. I find Mary Ellen Huston in 1900, widowed, in Ft. Worth, TX with married dau. Does anyone know where Erasmus might be buried or anything about the parents and family of Mary Ellen Turner Huston?
