Hello, all, It's a long shot (because it's been a long time!), but if anyone out there has memories of the old Priest Drug Store, and its owner "Doc Ed" Priest (George Edward Priest) and his lovely wife Susan, who was choral director at the Episcopal Church and gave Sunday concerts on the courthouse grounds, I'd love to hear your stories. They were my great-grandparents and both died before I was born. I made one trip to Clay Center about 8 years ago and actually met one or two folks who had memories of them. Now that so many of us "rootdiggers" are on line, I thought I'd ask.
