I am researching the following Cain family: Lewis CAIN married Sarah KEENAN in 1852 in Perry co. Ohio. Their children were: Samuel, Benjamin, Alva, Mary, William, Charles, Daniel, Martha, and Emily Letitia. After the death of Lewis in 1871, the family moved to Crawford Co. Illinois. Samuel CAIN moved to Clay Co Kansas in 1879 then returned to Crawford Co Ill to marry Nancy Ellen KING in 1880. As soon as they were married they returned to Kansas in the Vining/Clifton area. Their children were: Emma, Estella, Charles, Sarah, Robert. Emma married Lewis WOODRUFF; Estella married Harvey LEWIS, Charles married Martha DAWSON. Samuel's brother Charles also moved to Kansas. He married Lorena SHAW in 1871 in crawford Co. Ill. then about 1880 moved to Kansas. They lived in Cloud Co, Aurora Twp from the 1880 census onward. Their children were Willis, Edwin, Mertie and Effie. Samuel's sister Emily Letitia CAIN married Lemuel W. WHEELER. They moved to Kansas and lived in Milton vale, Kansas, Cloud Co. Their children were: Nora, Lola, Bessie, Ada, Della.
