Her mother is Irene (Allen) Hollinger of Norton, Ks. Irene Allen's father was Carl Gustof Allen. He had come from Sweden and I believe his name was Carl Gustof/Gustaf Swenson but changed his name to Allen. He was also known to many as Charlie Allen. Carl/Charlie Allen married Emma Fredricka Velen and her father was Swen Velen.They married and lived in the Mariadahl area of Clay county. Anyone helping me with the Allen genealogy will be so very much appreciated. HELP!!
