Bock of Roseville will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday at Oak Hills Memorial Park in San Jose. Mrs. Bock died Monday, July 28, in Grass Valley. She was 94. She was born Feb. 27, 1909, in Clay Center, Kan., to John and Ellen Grainger. She received a B.A. degree in education from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. She married Lyle V. Bock on Jan. 15, 1934, in Clay Center, Kan. She worked as an elementary school teacher in Greenfield. She was a member of the California Teachers Association, and Sweet Adelines. She enjoyed playing the piano, singing and bridge. She is survived by sons Lavell W. Bock of Grass Valley and Lavan W. Bock of Discovery Bay; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle V. Bock, in 1970. Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
