    3. Dear List Members, First I want to thank all of you who hate Roll Calls for the manner in which you have handled yourself during the past few days. I am sure your delete fingers are getting a work out, I know mine is with over 50 lists having a Roll Call this weekend. For those of you who just need a break due to your mail boxes filling up remember, you unsubscribe from the list the same way your subscribed to it. I am behind on helping members unsubscribe and most likely I will not get to you till the Roll Call is over. Just a reminder for those who have yet to post their Roll Call information. Please change the subject line to give a hit of what is in your messages. If you just hit return to post your message, PLEASE do not forget to delete the old message and taglines from the earlier posting. If you are on a county list, give us a time period for your surnames...if you are on a State list you need to also add counties. This Roll Call will be over at 8:00 pm Mountain Standard time on Sunday, April 21st. If you have not posted by that time. It is to late. 3. Still hoping someone out there has information on this family. I'm trying to track down Lottie DREW, who was a child of my ggggm's first marriage to a George W. DREW. The only "tidbits" I have follow: --Clay County Kansas Marriage Licenses issued for the months of January thru September from 1866 to 1900 [SGS-KS/14-1] DOOLITTLE, Chas E. married Mattie McNEELEY, August 1868 DOOLITTLE, Walter married Lottie M DREN [sic], February 1882 [I believe this is the Lottie I'm interested in.] --Oquawka [IL] Spectator, Vol. 36, No. 29, 26 July 1883, page 1, col. 3: "Mrs. Lottie Drew Doolittle came from Bloomington to her old home on a visit bringing with her, her very young daughter, Ida." [Suggests that by July 1883 they were living in Bloomington, IL] --Henderson Co., IL Petition for Letters of Administration by A. C. SHARP, 6/26/1897, lists children of Mary SHARP as Flora E. TIDMORE, Lottie M. DECOMP, and A. C. SHARP. [suggests that Lottie had remarried by June 1897; no idea what happened to Walter Doolittle or their child] --1880 US Census---Census Place: Mulberry, Clay, Kansas Source: FHL Film 1254376 National Archives Film T9-0376 Page 52B Rel Sex Marr Race Age POB Occ. 1. [KSCLAY] Roll-Call Young 1885-1905 Hurley & Mitchel=Oakland & Mulberry Twp
    2. Jackie
    3. Well seeing no one has started this yet, lets get started. My Clay County families are: This whole family is my biggest brick wall 1885 Clay county state census Joseph Young and family were in Oakland township in the 1885 state census. With wife Catharine, children Daniel Harmon 15, Mary Young age 13, Nettie Young age 8, Hattie Young age 4 After this census am lost till around 1900 census. Joseph Young must have died in Mulberry township because Catharine Young is found living with Son Daniel Harmon who is listed as being married for 2 years but does not list wife in Mulberry Township. Hattie Young had married Bentley Hurley I think in this township. Mary Young had married Alexander Mitchell I think in this township. My grandmother should be there also Fonda Bell Young born 1885 in Oakhill (Clay County) and there should be a Lizzy but not sure where she fits in. Don't know if she is a Harmon or Young but could have been married at that time to a gentleman with last name Inman. Also Nettie Young could by 1900 be married to a man with last name McIntruff. If anyone recognizes any of these names would love to hear from you. Also If any one knows how I can check for these marriages or death of Joseph in Mulberry Township or Catharine Young's death after 1900 in same township. Also any info for any of the above off of the 1895 State Census. I think that will help alot. Well hope to hear. Good luck to all. Thanks for all your time. Jackie

    2. Kathleen Burnett
    3. Dear List Members, Lets have a Roll Call this weekend. The Roll Call will begin on Thursday Morning April 18th and continue on through Sunday evening April 21st. (PLEASE DO NOT BEGIN TO SEND YOUR ROLL CALL POSTINGS UNTIL THURSDAY MORNING.) Post your Surnames, dates townships if known and if you are posting to multiple counties that I take care of, be sure and mention county. If you are posting to a county along a state line when I take care of lists on both sides, you might also mention the state. You are welcome to post as much information as you wish and as little as long as there is a Surname, county and or time period. Be sure and watch the Subject line and CHANGE IT TO MATCH YOUR ROLL CALL POSTING to encourage members to read your message, such as ROLL CALL: SMITH, JONES, KELLETT 1830-1870 COUNTY NAME. PLEASE DO NOT JUST HIT RETURN AND TYPE IN YOUR INFORMATION!!!! CHANGE THE SUBJECT LINE AND DELETE THE LAST MESSAGE LONG WITH TAGLINES. Following these instructions will make this a much better Roll Call for all our members including yourself. For those members who do not like Roll Calls, just delete the messages and know that come Sunday night - it will be over. I continue to appreciate your support. It is because of each of you that our list is as strong as it is. Kathleen Burnett List Mom
