Just want to let you know that the Bourbon County Registrar of Deeds office is on the ball and really helpful which should encourage those of you seeking that information. You can call (316 223-3800) for basic data, but need to write and send a SASE identifying your search inquiry. The address is: Office of Registrar of Deeds - Bourbon County 210 South National Fort Scott, KS 66701 When I called they told me their records are cross-indexed by buyer & seller and date back to KT days. I sent a ck without knowing exactly how much I'd get in return, but they refunded a $1 and sent me 8 pgs (dbl sided) @$3 a page. Perhaps a bit higher than some offices, but I got it back within DAYS!
