I am researching my family history. My great grandparents, Frederick Elllsworth Chidester and Ada Mae Lorton were married on Christmas Day 1898 in Ft. Scott, KS. Fred's parents were Isaiah Chidester and Mary Elizabeth Tucker. Ada's parents were Thomas Jefferson Lorton b. 1833- Greene Co. IL d. 1906-Ft. Scott, KS. Tom was the City weighmaster for Ft. Scott.
