Would like to correspond with anyone who is either researching or aquatinted with the KARLESKINT (KARLESKIND/CARLESKINT) family of Fort Scott, Bourbon County, KS. I have a female ancestor (Barbara BEECHWOOD) who married into the family, and I have reason to believe the two families originated from the same town in Germany. The KARLESKINTs came to Fort Scott, KS from West Turin, Lewis Co., NY about 1860. There are still KARLESKINTs in Montgomery County, KS today. If you have any information on either of these families, I'd love to hear from you! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Niki (Beechwood) Curry niki.curry@bain.com Researching in Neosho County, KS (1865-1909): BEECHWOOD, BELL, BLAISE, CAVANAUGH, DUMAS, SAUNDERS, Researching in Montgomery County, KS (1909-1940): BEECHWOOD Researching in Bourbon County, KS (1860 - present): KARLESKINT or CARLESKIND
