There is a book, "Portrait & Biographical Record of Southeastern Kansas," which I have been trying to obtain through ILL--unsucessfully. If any of you folks who actually live in KS are familiar with this reference, I would appreciate hearing from you. Posted an inquiry some months back, but it has never worked out.
