Does anyone on this list know of the best resources in the Fort Scott area to obtain information from old city directories, newspapers, cemetery indexes, etc. Preferably something fast and inexpensive, not a paid researcher. Does anyone on this list have access to Fort Scott resources that is willing to do lookups if name, place, dates, are known? If so, could you post the resources you have access to on the list? My mom has a few books, I'm not sure what they are and if they would be helpful. As soon as I get to see her, I'll post anything that might be helpful with an offer to do lookups. I know she has a cemetery index, but don't remember if it is Fort Scott or Bartlesville, OK. Thanks Elayne
