Good afternoon fellow Kansas researchers, I have found out through an immigration index that my greatgrandfather Rene MAENHOUT lived in/near Marion, Kansas in 1905.. I noticed a cemetery in Bourbon county called Marion Cemetery (Uniontown). This is the area where Rene worked and later had a farm. Can anyone tell me if there was a community named Marion in this area? or Should I consider the Marion stated in the index to be near the one further west on today's maps? Help please.
