Looking for information on Jonathan KEARNES (various spellings), b. abt 1852 in Ohio. According to the 1880 census, his parents were from VA. He m. 1878, Bourbon Co., KS, to Eliza Caroline JAMES "Carrie". They had three children: William, b. 1879, Anna Louise, b. 1881, and Thomas Marion, b. 1883. I've been told they moved to Laclede Co., MO. Carrie with her two youngest children went to Oakland, CA, abt 1908. I don't know what happened to her husband, Jonathan, or oldest son, William.
