    3. The Topeka Daily Capital Friday February 13, 1920 Deaths and Funerals. PEARSON.--Mrs. Bertha Mildred Pearson, formerly of Topeka, died in Pocatello, Idaho, according to word received in Topeka. The body will be brought to Topeka for burial. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed. PENNY.--The funeral of Mrs. J.L. Penny, who died Wedneday morning, will be held this morning at 9 o'clock from the Church of Assumption. Burial in Mount Calvary cemetery. LONGAKER.--Mrs. Mary Jane Longaker, aged 81, died yesterday afternoon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William USHER, 1801 Oakley avenue. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 8 o'clock from the Usher home. Burial in Mount Hope cmetery. She is survived by her husband, Isaac N. Longaker; a son, Ernest Longaker; and a daughter, Mrs. Usher. HUGHES.--Mrs. J.B. ROSS, 1317 West strett, received word yesterday of the sudden death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. J.A. Hughes of Modesto, Cal. Mrs. Hughes is survived by her husband and two small children. Before her marriage she was Mis Rachel WADDELL, a nurse at St. Frances hospital.
