The Washington Register Washington County Thursday December 22, 1904 Richard EMMONS, the five year old and only son of J.S. and Eliza Emmons of this city, died Sunday morning of diptheria. The little sufferer was only sick one week when he was called to leave his indulgent parents and loving sisters, who have the consolation in their sad and sudden bereavement that "all is well with the child." The remains were interred, Sunday afternoon at two o'clock, with prayer at the grave by Dr. Geo. Hageman, in the Dunkard cemetery, east of this city. The family have the sympathy of the entire community in their sad bereavement.
