The La Cygne Weekly Journal Linn County Saturday April 12, 1879 Mr. George FOSTER died of consumption at 6 o'clock, Thursday morning, at the residence of his brother, Mr. Charles Foster, near La Cygne. The deceased was a middle-aged man, unmarried, one of the first residents of La Cygne, but had not lived here much of late years. He leaves many friends, both in this city and elsewhere, who will regret his demise.
