    3. The McLouth Times Jefferson County Friday September 3, 1909 Death came to relieve David HOUSH of his suffering, Tuesday about noon. Since Saturday he had been rapidly sinking and relatives had been sent for. When the final summons came he dropped quietly to sleep. Mr. Housh's illness had extended over a period of several months and was pronounced cancer of the stomach. In accordance with his wishes, funeral services, conducted by Rev. C.F. Teetor, assisted by Rev. H.L. Saunders, and followed by the Masonic ritual services, were held at th ehouse Thursday at 3 o'clock, his favorite songs being rendered by Messrs Phinney, Rains, Leech and Johnson. Burial was made in Pleasant View, and the services at the grave were conducted by the Masonic order, with his lifelong friend, R.C. Young of Winchester, acting as Master. Loving hands heaped tender blossoms about his casket.
