The Topeka Dailiy State Journal Wednesday May 15, 1918 Topeka Doctor Is Made Captain. Lieut. Dr. A.M. DAWSON, well known Topeka physician and surgeon, has been recommended from headquarters of the Sanitary Train of which he has been a member and stationed at Camp Pike, Little Rock, Ark., to captain. He will soon leave Camp Pike for a special training in an eastern city. Dr. Dawson left Topeka with the Washburn Ambulance train nearly a near ago. Mrs. Dawson is visiting in Topeka at present but will return to Camp Pike with her husband upon his return.
