    3. The Topeka Daily Journal Tuesday July 1, 1919 8 Smallpox Cases. Vaccination Treatments Still Being Given Free at City Hall. There are eight cases of smallpox, four cases of diphtheria and three cases of scarlet fever in town at present. This is more smallpox than there should be, says Doctor Brown, city health officer. The authorities have not succeeded in locating any source for the spread of this disease. The cases are scattered about the city and are not confined to any one district. Vaccaination treatements are still being given free of charge at the city clinic.
