The Oskaloosa Independent Jefferson County Saturday January 1, 1876 Mr. Luther ZIMMERMAN, a very promising and noble young man, died of typhoid fever. Living a few miles east of town on the Leavenworth road. He has been in the western part of the State for some months, had been home but a few weeks, when he was taken very sick, and in a week to ten days was numbered with the dead.
