The Brewster Gazette Thomas County Saturday November 10, 1888 Born.--Mr. and Mrs. O.E. MEDARIS, are the happy parents of a 9 lb. boy, who made his appearance last Thursday night. Mother and child are doing well, and O.E. will recover. Brewster Gazette; November 17, 1888. The new baby spoken of in last weeks paper which came to the home of Mr. and Mrs. O.E. Medaris, was the first baby born in our town, and has been named Brewster, for which compliment, the Town Company, (so we understand) will deed the boy a town lot. That is as it should be, and we hope the little stranger wil be live to reap a fortune from his town property.
