The Carbondale Post Osage County Thursday August 24, 1916 Newton--Mabon. Last Thursday morning, Miss Esther MABON and Mr. Carl P. NEWTON were married in Topeka. The bride is a daughter of Mrs. J. P. Mast and is a highly respected young woman, well known in this vicinity. Mr. Newton is from Kansas City, Kansas, and is a young man of good character and clean habits. Although he has been in this community but a comparitively short time, he has made warm friends who wish these young people much joy and happiness.--Scranton Gazette.
