The Holton Weekly Signal Jackson County Wednesday October 22, 1890 Died.--At his home one mile northeast of Netawaka, Peter Christensen, of abscess of the liver, October 15th. He was only sick for a few days and was not considered dangerous even an hour before he died. He was an exemplary citizen, a kind neighbor and a loving husband. Rev. Woodburn conducted the funeral services which were sad and impressive. He leaves a wife and a large concourse of friends to mourn his loss.
