The Barnes Chief Washington County Thursday June 1, 1922 The body of Levi EWING, son of Grant Ewing arrived in Blue Rapids Thursday from Manila, Philippine Islands, and the funeral took place at the Baptist church Sunday. He died at Manila March 5, while a soldier in the U.S. Army and the funeral was a military one.
