The Barnes Chief Washington County Thursday June 1, 1922 Grandma HEWELL passed away at the home of her son, R.LEIBER, at Greenleaf Monday evening, May 29. The body was taken to her old home in Missouri for burial. Grandma Hewell was a woman whom everybody loved and respected and her death will be regretted by her many Barnes friends. She was quite elderly being at the time of her death eighty-five years old.
